2 unterschiedliche Rahmennr auf 1 Rahmen gibt es dass

Hallo Alle,

Mijn Freund Bob aus der UK hat mich angemaild, und mir folgende Frage vorgelegd.
Er hat sein Freunds XT in die Garage und beim anschauen des Lenkkopf stelte er fest das es zwei komplet unterschieliche nr git nl: 1N5-000123- und DGM-157330M, Beide sehen original aus!
Er hat mich gefracht ob, das Yamha Nr sind und warum die Zweite Nr, habe selber uber das Netz gesucht, bin aber nicht fündig geworden;
Hat einer von Euch ne Idee?

ja klar, das gibt's und gab's... Bob hat mich angefragt und ich habe ihm gestern die folgende Antwort geschrieben:

Yes, you are right, 1N5 is the normal number for european 76 models. But for italian circumstances that’s not enough… ) You know, Italians are a little bit other than the others….
Most of the older (1970's and 1980's) Italian motorcycles have a DGM number stamped on them somewhere in addition to a Frame number.

DGM is for "Direzione Generale Motorizzazione" - the italian main authority for all things that are motorized. If a motorcycle gets legalized in Italy, all of its important parts receive a DGM number under which their specification is documented I believe. I don’t know if the DGM number is specific to year and model but would assume, that the DGM number is part related and that the homologated part in question may be used for whatever bike the manufacturer pleases.

Also ich denke, ich muss das nicht übersetzen, auch wenn's ein deutsches Forum ist .

Wieder was gelernt.. Ich hätte DGM eher für "Deutsches Gebrauchsmuster" gehalten.
Das steht bei meiner Vorkriegs-TWN auf jedem zweiten Schräuberl...
