Teile für grosse Acerbis tank

Hallo !

An idio.. have sold me a tank with everything missing ! I need the following parts :

- tank cap
- fuel cocks
- all mounting pieces ( I don't know how to mount it).

Do somebody have these parts for sale so I can buy it ?

for Tank-Cap (Tankdeckel, Tankverschluss) and Fuel-Cock (Benzinhahn) look here: GOETZ-Motorsport or ask any Motocross-Dealer.

Mounting Pieces (Tankbefestigung) also, or selfmade.

Now I just need the Tankbefestigung. But I don't really know what it should look like and how many parts it should consist of.

Maybe it's helpful to contact BUESE Motorsport, an Acerbis-Dealer in earlier years. Or Goetz....

The front-fastening is nearly 100% a flat-steel holder, like an upside-down "U" with rubber points at the Tank side. I think the rubber points are also available at Goetz.

I have tried to write to Goetz and Buese. I am waiting for their answers.

Furthermore I tried to put the tank on the frame. It is VERY tight on the frame, It doesn't look like it's possible to put a U-shape flat steel holder between the tank and the frame.

Hi,

I used single flat bars to fix the tank in the front. In the back theres an L shaped iron. The tank sits quite tight on the oiltank, but it works. At least for my 32l Africa tank. Seems yours is slightly different... but I can't see that properly on the picture showing it from the front. Well mine has some hollows for the rubber slides which seem to be a bit bigger. Can't say for sure.
If necessary I could take some pictures of mine next week. Just let me know.

Our member Knorri is selling selfmade Acerbis mounting parts for just EUR 10,00, that seems cheap

I will try and contact him asap. Though it does not look like it will fit the 33 liter tank. Maybe he can make some mounting parts that will fit.

I have now got answers from Buese and KEDO. They say they don't have the mounting parts and they can not tell me how the parts should look like (for making a homemade version).

Sorry, these are busy days and I forgot looking into this threat for a while.

I'll try to take some Pictures at the weekend. Got to get my old "Loki" out of the garage anyway.
But know, that my bike is just meant to work not to look nice

Maybe I should take the chance and have a ride in the snow....
