Hallo zusammen, auf meiner offenbar niemehr endenden Suche nach meinem Traumtöff (so sagt mann hier in der Schweiz) eine XT500S habe ich schon Einiges beobachtet. Eine wunderschöne Maschine mit gut 10000 KM drauf im Ebay. die ging dan offensichtlich mit etwas mehr als 6300 Teuro aus der Auction.(herzlichen Glückwünsch dem Verkäufer und dem Käufer) Die professionellen Fotos aus der Auction kann man immer noch bei mobile.de bewundern.... da versucht ein Engländer die gleiche Maschine auf sehr dubiose Art und Weise an den Mann oder Frau zu bringen. Ich hoffe da hat noch niemand aus Begeisterung für diesen Klassiker wollen zugreifen, obwohl 2400.- EUR doch ein tolles Schnäppchen ist. Ich habe mein Kontakt auf ein par Mails (nicht Miles) beschränkt. Ich vermute einen (oder mehrere?) Betrügereien, auch im Zusammenhang mit England. Das Inserat in mobile.de:[/size]

BIke has German papers, bike was of my uncle from Germany.
Ok, I was looking for shipping costs to 79576, Weil am Rhein, Germany and the best quote for shipping the motorcycle is 200 Euro, I'm willing to cover half shipping costs to 79576, Weil am Rhein, Germany (so that would make shipping 100 euros each). Motorcycle will be delivered in 4-7 days.
The interesting thing is that UK shipping company has a third party payment option that would allow a certain number of days (5 days) for inspection before releasing the payment, I would be comfortable with that too. That means that we have to send payment and the merchandise to the third party company, the inspect and keep the payment. Immediately after, they ship the motorcycle to you, then the inspection period applies, if you are happy with my Yamaha XT 500 S, you have to ask the shipping company to send me the payment, if not, you have to ship me back the motorcycle (same process -- no costs) and ask for your money back. As I checked with them, if you are agree with this, please reply back with your name and shipping address to start the process of shipping and third party payment. The motorcycle will be shipped along with all the documentation: registration papers, title, bill of sale, keys, manuals, etc.

PS : The all process is like this, I'll start the transaction, motorcycle will be shipped and once the motorcycle was sent you will get a e-mail with all info's tracking number and payment instructions. You must make the payment by wire transfer or bank transfer to the shipping agent and they will keep money safe until you will get the motorcycle. You will have 5 days to test and inspect the motorcycle and if you like the motorcycle just e-mail the shipping company and they will remit the money to me, if you don't like the motorcycle after 5 days of test period, you will get your money back and I'll get my motorcycle back.

ich wünsche Dir auf der Suche nach Deinem Traum viel Glück. Einlösen wirst Du sie aber wohl nicht können, das geht nur bis (ich glaube) 83er Baujahr. Danach gabs die XT in der CH nicht mehr offiziell. Wenn Du also eine ergatterst, musst Du sie mit edm Vorbesitzer/der Vorbesitzerin in die CH importieren

Moin, es gibt auf der Startseite des jeweiligen Angebotes die Moeglichkeit, das Inserat zu beanstanden.
Bitte macht von dieser Option kraeftig Gebrauch...

I live in London and the bike is here with me. It is registered in Germany and it has German plates numbers. I didn't used it here because don't like to drive my sister bike, and this is also one reason that I want to sell it.
Also I don't want to get rich after my sister decease, so that's why I have put a low price, also once at three months she took the bike to a specialized service for a technical revise.
I want to know if you can meet me in London.

Sehr geehrter Herr XT500 Fahrer

Vielen Dank für Ihre Informationen.
Wir haben die XT500 bis und mit 1983 in die Schweiz importiert. Ab 1983 haben wir die XT550 importiert.
Bei Ihrer XT500 ist die 1. Inverkehrssetzung ein Problem. Motorräder welche die 1.Inverkehrssetzung nach dem 1.1.1988 haben, müssen bei einem Import in die Schweiz die FAV3 Abgasvorschrift erfüllen. Diese Vorschrift waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt die strengste in Europa. Da wir die XT500 nie nach dieser Vorschrift geprüft haben, verfügen wir über keine Messwerte, und können Ihnen somit leider nicht behilflich sein. Falls Sie das Motorrad trotzdem importieren wollen, müssen Sie eine Abgasmessung durchführen lassen. Die Kosten hierfür betragen ca. 1500.- Fr. Es gibt in der Schweiz zwei Messstellen, welche eine solche Abgasmessung durchführen kann. Dies sind die EMPA in Dübendorf oder die Berner Fachhochschule, Abteilung Abgasmessungen in Biel / Nidau.

EINE Variante gibt es noch. WENN Du jemanden kennst, der in den nächsten Monaten in die CH zügelt, und der/diejenige eine solche Traum-XT sein/ihr eigen nennt, kann er/sie die mitnehmen und bekommt sie problemlos, ohne Prüfung eingelöst. Aufwendig aber so gehts.
