I just had a look for points... seems Yam still list these ones, are they not the same for all years?

Those are US$42, about £33... I think CMSL is about 38 Euros.

Over on "Le temple du XT" http://xt500.free.fr/ they
list these bikes as using the same ignition points set as the XT500 which is
good to know if you're looking for a fresh set.

They say they are made by Denso and while still not 'cheap', if they are the same (they do look the same in the pics) then good value and avoids the wondering if the Daiichi units are real or fake etc.
